Passing Out Parade of Agniveervayu Trainees – 01/2025 at Airmen Training School Belagavi

Bengaluru. The Passing Out Parade (POP) of the fifth batch of Agniveervayu Trainees (AGVT) was held at the Airmen Training School, Belagavi on June 6, 2025 marking the successful culmination of 22 weeks of rigorous and trans formative ab-initio training by 1634 Agniveervayus Men and Women.

The Reviewing Officer for the ceremonial event, Air Vice Marshal, PCP Anand, Senior Officer-in-Charge-Administration, HQTC IAF, lauded the impeccable drill and the spirited performance by the Agniveervayus. The Air Vice Marshal congratulated the successful trainees and felicitated the award winners with trophies for their outstanding performance in different categories. AGVT Shweta was adjudged as ‘Best in Academics’, AGVT Krish Pargai as ‘Best in GST’, AGVT Ashish Kumar  as ‘Best Marksman and AGVT was Praveen Kumar adjudged as ‘Best all-rounder’. The Reviewing Officer urged the Agniveervayu trainees to remain vigilant, adaptable and committed to their duties, in view of the ever-evolving nature of global security challenges. He further emphasized the importance of adaptability, by encouraging the young warriors to continuously learn, embrace new challenges, and remain mission-ready in ever evolving global security environment. He exhorted them to uphold the highest standards of conduct and integrity, both within and outside the service.

The event was a moment of pride and emotion for the families of the Agniveervayus, who were present in large numbers to witness the ceremony. The Reviewing Officer expressed heartfelt appreciation to the parent for their unwavering support and acknowledged their vital support in shaping the next generation of Aerospace Defenders. He concluded by commending the Air Officer Commanding and all personnel of Airmen Training School for their outstanding effort in nurturing and transforming the youth into proficient and resilient Agniveervayus, ready to serve the nation with honour, courage and commitment.
